5K

So I thought I would let everyone know, I did it,  I signed up for a 5K.  The color 5K.  for every 1K you run they will throw chock at you.  I have been running everyday to get ready for it.  So far I am up to 36min.  Not bad but I hope to do better.  The 5K is on the 15th.  I hope it go's as planed.

Biggest Loser Weeks to a New Life

okay, I know it has been forever since I have done anything on here.  We have had a ton of medical issues this past year and I have lost sight of myself and my goal of being a healthier, skinnier self.  I weighed in the other morning and I am at 270 lbs ... I have never weighed this much in my life. I am disgusted with myself and upset.  Randy's aunt signed a bunch of us up for a Biggest Loser healthier lifestyle challenge.  Each week we get a list of guidelines to follow and we get points for every goal we accomplish that week.  This isn't a challenge to lose weight, it is to help build healthier habits to help you lose weight and be healthier about doing it.  So I decided each week I will post the guidelines for that week and if any of you would like to try this lifestyle change with us you can follow along.
Week 1
- Drink 8 (8 oz) glasses of water ..... 5 points per day
- Stop eating at a set cut-off time (usually 2-3 hours before you go to bed, I chose 7 pm) ..... 5 points per day
- Walk 6000 steps in a day ...... (1000-2000 is 1 pt, 2001-4000 is 2 pts, 4001-5999 is 3 pts, 6000 + is 5pts)
Total points possible for this week is 105 ... Good Luck and I would like to hear how everyone does at the end of the week

Late : Wednesday Weigh In

Sorry I missed yesterday morning, my mind was working well, since we were at the ER until 2:00 am, so I didn't register it was Wednesday until later that night. So I weighed this morning instead. Today I am at 265.6 lbs, so we are down a bit from last week. Hopefully we can continue in that direction.

Wednesday Weigh In #1

Okay, this week I haven't been my best on eating. We ate lots of munchies at the track this weekend instead of real meals. I have also been sleeping a lot because my jaw is swollen and very sore. But even with all my excuses, I weighed in at 262.6 lbs this morning, that is 4.4 lbs lost this week. I am hoping to keep on this path and continue to go in the downward direction.
